Question

Q: Is this ink permanent? I am looking for ink that will dry on glossy paper. Many thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the question and unfortunately this ink is not permanent it is water based as all the brands ink pads are i.e. Trodat, MaxStamp, Colop, Shiny and Traxx etc.

None of the manufacturers make an ink pad which has quick drying permanent ink already of the shelf. The reason is that it is quick drying ink which means it will dry on the pad quickly and will need refreshing once or twice a day unlike traditional inks which will last for months if not years before they dry up.

Any you would also need to purchase a dry ink pad which we have available via the drop down list.

The only other thing to bear in mind id that this ink is not suitable to use with standard rubber dies fitted to most stamps. If your rubber die is not a GREY coloured rubber then it would not be suitable as the quick drying ink is oil based and will rot the standard rubber within a week or two of using the quick drying ink.
